Welcome and Thank You

Welcome to On The Wings of the Mothers: A Man Is Raised.  I am a single woman who is raising a son as a single mother. I am in the premature stages of developing a program that I have named "On The Wings of the Mothers: A Man is Raised." The basis of my program will be to encourage women who are raising Christian sons as a single mother to stay encouraged. I will provide the following services for the mothers and the fathers: counseling, financial planning, play dates/after school activities, Bible study, and weekly prayer meetings just to name a few. I am inviting the fathers to join in because they may be able to gain insight as to how hard it is to be a single mother raising a man. My passion for the welfare of children is what has motivated me to start this program. I am raising a son but the fact that I am a single mother with an inactive father only added fuel to the fire of my passion. I have seen so many promising young men get involved in the wrong things because the mothers that were raising them felt as if they had done all that they could do. They had no one to talk to and no one to listen to them without placing judgement. I definitely understand the feeling. That is why I am here. I want to give those women who have reached the breaking point the strength to keep going because we (the mothers) are all these men have. We have to continue to strengthen our backs to continue to carry these boys as they become men. So, I thank you for visiting my blog and my prayer is that together we can make a difference in the lives of the men that we are raising on our own.
